Heritage Corner Update for August
While the past several months have been challenging, the safety and well-being of our clients is our top priority. There is good news! Outdoor visits continue and the salon has reopened. Our culinary director is working on weekly menus that can be posted in the facility and handed out to clients each week. There are still restrictions in the dining rooms pertaining to meal times and seating, but the ability to socialize is putting smiles on faces! Additionally, activities are on the rise as we find ways to engage while keeping restrictions in mind.
Visits are taking place at the Klotz Road entrance. Visits must be scheduled in advance and will occur in 20-minute intervals. Visitors are limited to three and masks must be worn by visitors at all times. No one under the age of two is permitted and all visitors must pass a screening before visiting. To schedule a visit, please call 419-728-0289.
Heritage Corner is continuing to follow guidance from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and state and local health departments. Cumulatively, there has been one client and three staff member confirmed cases (all in May). Additional testing will be conducted for clients if exposure or symptoms are suspected.
