History
Family Focused Health Care
When Mark and Debra Manley founded Debmar Inc. in 1982, they were on a mission to provide healthier living options. They relocated the corporation from Findlay to Bowling Green, Ohio, in 1992 and built The Heritage Inn at the corner of Klotz and East Gypsy Lane Roads.
Originally there were just two wings, Scott and Goodrich, that housed assisted living services only. An expansion to assisted living took place in 1995 with the Bright wing. In 1999, the Cowell wing added Heritage nursing suites and 24 hour-a-day nursing care. In keeping with the mission statement, in 2002, two independent living wings (Webb and Barchent) were added with The Pillars at Heritage Corner.
Also in 2002, the connection of Goodrich and Bright wings formed Corner Stone Fitness Center, featuring a warm water pool. Here clients and their families can focus on yet another aspect of safe and healthy living.
A state-of-the-art child care center, Discovery Kingdom, opened in January 2007.
Many exciting changes happened to Heritage Corner Campus during 2008. We examined internal processes looking for ways to bring greater client and family satisfaction and to maintain a more refreshed and fulfilled workforce.
In 2010, we completed an expansion that included memory care, more private pay skilled nursing suites and inpatient hospice care.
In 2011, Heritage Primary Care & Sports opened, and houses our medical director. In November of 2012, our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility opened to the public.
We take pride in the housing and care options Heritage has available to the community. The family focused care makes it a great place to live and work.
