Misty was born in Findlay, Ohio and has been a part of The Heritage Inn almost her whole life she and her family lived at The Heritage Inn in Findlay for 5 years and moved to Bowling Green in 1992 and lived at The Heritage Inn - Bowling Green Campus for another 3 years. Misty graduated Bowling Green High School in 1999 and continued onto The University of Findlay where she graduated with an Associate in Human Resource Management. She plans to continue her education, and pursue a Bachelor in Business Management. In June of 2005, she married Brian Dimick.

Mrs. Dimick is the provider/nurses aid supervisor. Her responsibilities at The Heritage include: assisting with recruiting and selection of personnel for the facility, working with clients and families to ensure a healthy and safe environment, and maintenance of all client and staff files. Due to her experience with living in the facility, she has helped with all job positions and could probably do anything from changing a furnace filter to facilitating activities if needed. Misty is currently learning about bookkeeping, calculating time cards, processing payroll, and the computation of taxes. Misty reports "I believe living with the elderly my whole life has helped me better understand their constantly changing needs."

While growing up, Misty was very active in 4-H for seven years with her three horses. She has been involved for the past six years as a 4-H advisor for Rocking R Riders. She is a "Foster Parent" for a dog rescue group called Cherished Cockers. Recently, Misty also started volunteering for Humane Ohio.
